Our Policies
To help keep our treatments affordable and to reduce postage, paper, and other resources, payment is expected at the time of your visit. Our front office will strive to give you the estimate of out-of-pocket expenses when insurance plans are involved. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks.
Although emergencies sometimes occur that put us behind schedule, we appreciate your arriving on time and calling to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Scheduling
We respect the time you have taken out of your day to be with us, and we strive to run on time so you won’t be kept waiting. We ask you to arrive promptly at your appointed time, and please check in at our front desk. Occasionally, unforeseen dental emergencies occur that must be handled immediately and we appreciate your patience at these rare times. We will do our very best to keep your scheduled appointments on time. We acknowledge that unavoidable conflicts occur from time to time in our patients’ lives with their scheduled appointments. Please contact our office at least twenty-four hours in advance if you need to reschedule your appointment.
Payment Options
Our front office staff can help to make financial decisions easier for our patients so that you can get the appropriate dental care you deserve. Before scheduling treatment, we are happy to answer any general questions you may have regarding costs, but those with more complex treatment needs may necessitate a consultation. Once a treatment plan is selected, you will have treatment costs broken down for your review and approval. We request that payment be submitted as services are rendered in order to keep treatment affordable and reduce unexpected financial concerns.
For patients with dental insurance, please bring your up-to-date insurance information to your first appointment. As insurance plans or personal information change, we ask that you keep us updated. We encourage the use of a ‘pre-determination of benefits’ for any substantial dental treatment. This will allow our staff to help understand your benefits and limitations of coverage, and more accurately estimate your out-of-pocket expenses.
Insurance
The doctors are members of select dental plans and do participate with most dental insurances as an out-of-network provider. We will be happy to answer any questions about your particular coverage, simply contact our office so that we may assist you. For your convenience, we also offer a number of payment options to make your dental treatment more accessible.
Financing
We offer an array of financing options that allow patients to spread the cost of their general or cosmetic dentistry over time. We also accept payment by a variety of methods, including payment through dental insurance.
